Looking Back on 2024: A Year to Remember

How quickly 2024 flew by is a testament to the joy this journey brought. Like us, you’re likely looking forward to some well-deserved R & R. On our part, the downtime is certainly welcomed with open arms.

However, before we bid farewell to what was largely a successful year, let’s take a moment to reflect on some of the triumphs we had in 2024.

Strength in Numbers

It’s not lost on us how our community of customers, industry peers, partners, and onlookers has contributed to the leaps and bounds we’ve made over the past 12 months. Your continued support, collaboration, and feedback have been the catalysts for countless inspiring and meaningful discussions within our teams. Your cherished involvement helps drive the ever-growing quality of our eLearning solutions, and for that we are grateful.

We’ve taken note, and even done the numbers. And, of course, we’re thrilled to share the incredible story of our learning and development this year.

Our 2024 Highlight Reel

It isn’t easy to pinpoint just one aspect of the year that we remember fondly. Fortunately, we’ve been keeping tabs on our triumphs and wins to share them. Here’s the rundown of what had our team smiling from ear to ear.

Customer Satisfaction & Learner Support

The New Leaf support heroes achieved a 99% support satisfaction score, resolving 1,872 support tickets with an average response time of 37 minutes. We feel that having a low average of 36 weekly support tickets is a powerful indicator that our technology is intuitive.

We also supported over 560,000 learners, with an average learner uptake across all new clients increasing by 84%.

Partnerships

This year, we partnered with one of the world’s leading brands in the eLearning industry: Articulate. The partnership was a feather in our cap because we can’t wait to ramp up our efforts on elearning authoring in 2025. Our ambition is to revolutionise training across the continent of Africa, and this partnership was a step in the right direction.

Awards & Global Recognition

We won best eLearning company in South Africa and were finalists in the Learning Technologies Awards 2024 in London for “Best use of learning data analytics to impact learner and business performance”. We also expanded our impact globally — onboarding 36 new international customers — and transitioned from co.za to .com, marking a significant milestone in our global presence.

Collaboration

Within our team, we sent 96,959 Slack messages and uploaded 176,966 files to our drive to deliver premium service quality to our customers. We conversed over a whopping 53,487 emails and held 2,492 Google Meets, staying connected and maintaining an open line of effective communication throughout the year.

Throughout the year, we created and delivered over 850 custom SCORM packages to our valued customers. That’s a lot of custom eLearning content designed specially by our team for yours.

What Next?

This is a question we ponder perpetually. You might be wondering, too. With 2025 nearing, we’re excited to continue innovating and expanding our L&D initiatives. Progress is a process we want to strive for as not just a means to an end but an end in itself.

At New Leaf Technologies, it’s our mission to solve your training challenges and amplify performance to elevate your training to its full online potential, and we look forward to doing more of that in 2025.
